This internship will teach you all aspects of both traditional and digital marketing and is part time – 20 hours per week. You will be a self-starter who is passionate about generating new and interesting ideas. This role will suit an intelligent and creative person who can work on their own initiative and ideas and has a good understanding of Digital and Traditional Marketing. While this Internship is not salaried we will cover your travel expenses and there is opportunity to earn some additional income working on other projects.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day social media consumer engagement activities.
Customer service activities including answering the phone and email enquiries.
Generate web content including press releases and music related articles.
General duties on the occasional weekend for BandpagesTV live recordings.
Build relationships with newspapers, media, bloggers, writers and other websites.
Write marketing plans and implement them using SMART objectives.
Essential Skills:
Have a recognised digital marketing or marketing qualification
Excellent written English for producing web content and articles
Some previous work experience in a similar capacity or company
Be a self-starter with a common sense approach and good attention to detail
Have a strong work ethic, great organisational skills and work effectively in a small team
Telesales or Promotions work experience an advantage
